Sustainability is life
We are convinced: The Pacherhof has a soul of its own. And we, the hosts and guests, are simply visitors. This brings with it a responsibility that we take very seriously and live up to each day.
Home-grown indulgence
It’s not only white wines that we produce ourselves. In addition to the eight white grape varieties from our vineyards, we also use fruit, vegetables, and herbs from our very own garden in the kitchen. All other food for our natural cuisine is sourced from farms, producers, and suppliers in the nearby area around Neustift.
Class instead of mass
Premium quality. Products from our home. Indulgence from South Tyrol. We carefully process what nature gives us. That’s why, at the Pacherhof, you will always find a careful selection of seasonal and regional foods on your plate. Healthy natural products also play a leading role in our spa. And our wine list is not limited to our own white wines, but also includes excellent wines from other producers, mainly from South Tyrol, which we know meet our and your high standards.
Hand in hand for our region
South Tyrol is characterised by a small-scale economic environment in which every business can find its place. And the more we find harmony with our surroundings, the easier it is to create a strong network of partners on whom we can rely in all situations. For this reason, we have given preference to craft businesses, resources, and building materials from the region for the expansion and furnishing of the Pacherhof.
Hand in Hand with People and Nature
The South Tyrol Sustainability Label is based on the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), which were developed to provide a common understanding of sustainable tourism. These criteria can be divided into four different areas: Management, Socio-Economics, Culture, and Ecology.
The sustainability label enables destinations and accommodation/catering establishments to make their commitment to sustainable development visible to everyone. Because sustainability is a long-term journey, there are three levels of the label, which are audited. Different criteria must be met for each level, with the third and highest level, the GSTC certification, being internationally recognized.
